Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The contents presented in the article are a direct product of the intellectual contribution of the authors declared in it, and that in the form and content in which they are presented they are not being shown in parallel to any other editorial space for possible publication.
  • All data and references to already published materials are duly identified with their respective credit and included in the bibliographic notes and in the citations that stand out as such and, in cases that require it, we have the proper authorization of those who possess the copyrights. Therefore, we declare that all the materials presented are totally free of copyright and, therefore, we are not responsible for any litigation or claim related to intellectual property rights, exonerating the editorial entities from any responsibility.
  • If the work submitted is approved for publication, the editorial entities are authorized unlimitedly in time as the publishing institution, to include said text in the Complexity Sciences Journal and in turn reproduce, edit, distribute, display and Disseminate its content at home and abroad by print, electronic, database, pre and post-publication repositories, CD ROM, Internet or any other known or known means.

Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit their papers to the IBEROAMERICAN JOURNAL OF COMPLEXITY AND ECONOMIC SCIENCES must send an anonymous version of their article, in WORD, through: ricce@ulasalle.edu.pe.

In addition, they must attach a PDF with the following information The authors and co-authors.

Institution in which they currently work

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

The journal publishes its issues quarterly.

General format

Articles must be prepared with a space and a half, Arial 11 font, properly aligned, with a maximum of 25 pages including annexes, tables and figures. All pages must be numbered consecutively. Headings and subheadings should be short and informative.

FIRST PAGE OF THE MANUSCRIPT SHOULD CONTAIN

Purpose: What are the reasons for writing the article or the objectives of the research?

Design / methodology / approach: What is the focus of the topic and what is the theoretical or thematic scope of the article?

Findings: What was found in the course of the work? This will refer to analysis, discussion or results.

Practical implications (if applicable): What results and implications for practice, applications and consequences are identified? What changes in practice should be made as a result of this research? What is the commercial or economic impact? Not all articles will have practical implications.

Social Implications (if applicable): What will be the impact on society of this research? How will it influence public attitudes? How will it influence social (corporate) responsibility or environmental issues? How might it inform public or industry policy? How could it affect the quality of life? Not all articles will have social implications.

Originality/Value: What's new in the article? Indicate the value of the article and to whom.

Conflict of interest declaration (mandatory field): In this section the authors will declare if there is any conflict of interest.

Funding: Before the references section, the authors must declare if any people or institutions have funded the research presented in the article.

Abstract and keywords

The manuscript must include on its second page a summary of the article in Spanish and an abstract in English, which will not exceed 200 words and the JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) classification.

Keywords

The Keywords must be found below the abstract and must be in bold.

Abbreviations

Any abbreviation used in the article must be written in full the first time it is mentioned, followed by its corresponding abbreviation in parentheses.

References

References will be listed at the end of the text in alphabetical order, and year of publication in the case of more than one article per author. All citations in the article must appear in the final list of references and all of them must be cited in the text. Whenever the authors refer to ideas or results of another author, they must indicate their origin using the appropriate citation. Citations must be written in text using APA 7th Edition style

Tables and figures: Tables and figures must be numbered correlatively, following their order of appearance in the text. They must include captions that adequately describe the content of the table or figure and must include the source of information used to construct the table or figure.

Appendices: if necessary, authors can add appendices to the document that include useful supplementary material for other researchers ( for example, questionnaires used in surveys or econometric models). The annexes will be placed after the bibliographical references section, and must be labeled with capital letters (Appendix A, B, ...), and must have a descriptive title of its content. The journal reserves the right to make changes to the content of the article, always paying attention to the authors and respecting their criteria.
