Más allá del dinero: el bienestar financiero desde una perspectiva sistémica

Keywords: financial well-being, systems thinking, complexity, feedback, conceptual model

Abstract

Financial well-being encompasses economic, psychological, and behavioral factors that are often studied separately, which may limit our understanding of how they interact and change over time. This article examines financial well-being from a systems perspective through a narrative review of the literature, drawing on the concepts of interdependence, open systems, feedback, nonlinearity, and emergence. Building on this integration, the Systemic Model of Financial Well-Being (MSBF) is proposed, linking economic conditions, psychological processes, and financial behaviors within an open and dynamic environment. The model views financial well-being as a condition that emerges from the relationships among these components and how they evolve over time. In doing so, it broadens the focus from isolated factors to the interactions and trajectories that shape financial experience.
