COMPLEXITY OF LAW AND SOCIETY: LINK WITH CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN LATIN AMERICA
Abstract
This article aimed to analyze the complexity of law and society related to corporate social responsibility in Latin America, considering the current importance of the subject for legal and social sciences, and for the organizational sphere. Specifically, from the complexity of law and the complexity of society, addressing interdisciplinarity, as well as the distinction and complementarity of the voluntary and the mandatory, in relation to corporate social responsibility. Concluding, it emphasizes the convergence of the community, businesses, the state public sector, together with the environment, including from the local, national, and global legislative levels, between soft and hard laws, combining the various sciences as a collaborative and integrative fabric to achieve collective well-being in a multidimensional and unpredictable scenario. Law must be reoriented, with greater flexibility, adaptability, and resilience, to be conceived in an intertwined and holistic manner, capable of facing reality, but also the unimaginable, uncertainty.
